Senior Product Analytics Specialist

You will be joining a talented team of data specialists responsible for exploring,  analysing and delivering meaningful tactical and strategic insights to decision-makers. 

We are looking for a highly technical, passionate, self-motivated, and talented Product Analytics Specialist who loves solving tough and challenging problems that will help improve user experience and drive customer economics.

You will be responsible for delivering insights and reporting around traffic, customer behaviour, conversion, and other profit levers. You will also provide support in other analytics function areas such as optimisation, content recommendations and implementation. 

You will be able to work effectively in a team and have strong problem-solving and communication skills. Your attention to detail, ability to dig under the surface to answer the inevitable question “why” and your “can-do” attitude will contribute to the success and growth of the company.

  • Be an effective storyteller, building operational and strategic dashboards and presenting insights that reflect the broader customer experience in line with our KPIs
  • Being an expert working with Data Analytics within the business including understanding the trends and patterns and converting to actionable insights
  • Assist in providing analysis, insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the business in regard to the performance of their digital assets
  • Be a passionate subject matter expert on web analysis (inc. web analytics, app tracking, audience strategy, incremental revenue) and digital marketing
  • Champion best practice analytics implementation and development, primarily using Google Analytics v4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Develop, evolve and measure appropriate metrics and tools to provide reports and analysis as actionable strategic insights
  • Ensuring all business data is accurate and that data issues are resolved quickly
  • Promote the use of data and analytics across the business


  • 7-10 years providing analysis and insights to business stakeholders
  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data, Statistics, Finance)
  • Deep, hands-on experience working with analytics and strong experience with building reports from live data, and using reports to uncover and deliver insights
  • Strong analytical and visual thinking skills, with the ability to identify business questions, pain points and opportunities, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, prioritize findings using different models, and develop actionable recommendations and experimentation/personalisation roadmaps
  • Demonstrable experience with custom reports, custom dimensions, goals, API data extraction, site tagging practices with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business strategy into analytical tasks and translate back to tangible business results
  • Ability to query large databases and write SQL queries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) certificate
  • Proficiency with Python/R or other scripting languages is highly desirable for data manipulation and exploratory analysis
  • Experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge and experience with Machine Learning principles
