Senior Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Research and evaluate software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making decision on which solution to be carried out by the team
  • Update and maintain all production services ensuring proper maintenance and monitoring, as well as handling the communication and escalation with the parties involved
  • Ensure the deliverables are developed properly and validated
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, such as: Project Development Plan, SIT/UAT documents, Internal project documentation, etc.
  • Perform discovery on future projects

Requirements

  • Qualifications/Education:  Bachelor Degree (min)
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Experienced in managing integration projects
  • Experienced in high uncertainty projects
  • Familiarity with Agile Framework and tools like Jira is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven at least 3 years work experience in project management
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful project throughout its life cycle
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and technologies
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
